Does this sound like you?

🤔 You are an executive, director, manager, or coordinator working in the nonprofit sector.

🤔 You deeply care about your staff and communities and want to be a real leader in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

🤔 You understand and agree with shifting power, yet feel stuck on taking action.

🤔 You have made small changes at work, and are overwhelmed with the idea of systems change.

🤔 You want to speak truth to power, and fear being performative or being unable to follow through.

🤔 You have lots of ideas for improving your organization, and don’t know the best place to start.

🤔 You’re ready to lead the charge, yet struggle to get buy-in and make things happen.

Meet Your Coach

Change is radical. To foster it, we must be too.
— MAYA HASAN

I like to describe my coaching style as the ‘gentle art of provocation.’

I ask many questions. I listen deeply and with compassion. Once I have an understanding of your situation, your values, and your goals, I am unapologetic about challenging you to be accountable for them.

You are the hero on your work-life journey. I am your trusted guide in navigating it.

A strong commitment by both of us - to be humble, to be curious, and take action - is necessary to achieve lasting change.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Most of our clients are senior and emerging leaders from the United Nations, international organizations, NGOs, and nonprofits. They are working professionals at the senior and mid-level who are committed to diversity and inclusion in the social impact sector.

Our coaching is most relevant for (but not limited to):

    • Senior executives, directors, board members, advisers with strategic responsibilities of diversity and inclusion

    • Leaders or members of diversity and inclusion councils, committees, working groups, task forces, employee resources groups, affinity groups

    • Professionals working in human resources, people and culture, diversity and inclusion, talent or leadership development, staff training, and workforce development

    • Managers or coordinators actively applying diversity and inclusion principles

  • 12 sessions.

These may be spread out on a weekly or bi-weekly basis based on your preference and availability.

    • Weekly: 12-week program

    • Bi-weekly: 24-week program

  • Each session is 60 minutes.

  • While we will generally follow the steps of discovery, goal-setting, and accountability to provide structure to the overall journey, you set the agenda for each coaching session.

We can either discuss an ongoing subject such as progress towards your goals, or we could veer into an important issue that’s come up that you feel needs to be worked out. This is up to you.

The coach’s role is to listen, ask questions, and help you come up with a clear plan and powerful actions to move you step by step towards your goals.

The client’s role is to reflect and, more importantly, to take action. To achieve growth, you have to do the work and I hold you accountable.

Our joint role is to figure out what is holding you back from achieving your goals and navigate them together.
